I feel for you. Moved into a new house 3 months ago myself. I HATE moving. Even though we moved into a new construction house with one more bedroom and 35% more space, I still loathed it.
Soak those feet, and good luck unpacking.

I stopped for the night after hooking up the TV and cable..... and am lying on the couch after getting a nice cool shower and some dinner in.
We actually hired movers for the first time. My bad back hates moving too, and the $500 I just spent moving all my big shit (little boxes and stuff the wife and I moved yesterday and this morning) was WELL worth it.
Especially when we found out our queen size boxspring wouldn't fit up the stairs to the loft/den/bedroom, they had to go through the window next to the garage.
I woulda been like "uhhhhh.... guess we don't use a boxspring anymore, lolololol"

We closed on the house on a Thursday, so Friday - Sunday I was hauling boxes back and forth from the old house to the new digs. Even though we only moved exactly 2.5 miles away, I put 80 miles on my truck that weekend, strictly driving between houses. And yes, we hired movers for the big items. It took them two trips.
Over that weekend, I made it a point to crank the A/C down as low as it would go in my ultra-efficient, well-insulated new house. Every other trip, after I unloaded, I would lie down in the living room directly under the fan. Better than sex, my friend.

Good job! Moving is a huge pain. I bet you're glad to get away from those neighbors. I hope your new neighbors are good ones.

Oh yes. Haven't met any of them yet, but it seems to be mostly older folks, who were in bed early, and not likely to have loud Jeeps and crotch rockets.
